Role overview

We are seeking a Junior Developer to support the development of our forensic analytics platform, crypto security solutions, and related tools. You will work closely with senior developers, learning and contributing to the full development lifecycle, from designing and coding to testing and deployment. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow in blockchain security, AI-driven analytics, and cybersecurity-focused software development.


Key responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining Sherlock, our AI-driven forensic analysis platform for crypto crimes.

  • Write clean, efficient, and secure code in Python, JavaScript (Node.js), and C/C++.

  • Collaborate with senior developers to implement blockchain tracing, real-time transaction monitoring, and cryptographic security features.

  • Support API integrations, including exchange alerts, case management tools, and law enforcement platforms.

  • Contribute to front-end and back-end development, using React for UI and Nest.js or Express.js for backend services.

  • Assist in implementing cryptographic security measures, quantum-resistant encryption, and blockchain-based authentication.

  • Debug, test, and optimize software to ensure reliability and performance.

  • Learn and apply forensic analysis techniques for blockchain investigations.

  • Document code, processes, and system architecture for future reference.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, blockchain security threats, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

What we’re looking for


Must-have skills:

  • 1-3 years of experience in software development (or strong portfolio if self-taught).

  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (Node.js).

  • Basic knowledge of blockchain technologies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, smart contracts, transactions).

  • Familiarity with cryptographic principles and secure coding practices.

  • Experience with APIs, web development (React, Express/Nest.js), and RESTful services.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for crypto security, forensics, and blockchain investigations.


Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience with C/C++, Golang, or Rust.

  • Knowledge of cryptographic security models, key management, or quantum-resistant encryption.

  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

  • Exposure to AI/ML for blockchain data analysis.

  • Previous experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or forensic investigations.

  • Contributions to open-source blockchain security tools or research.
